Mashed Potato at Port Eliot

Port Eliot 2019 line-up, including Fashion Foundation

Port Eliot has long been one of our favourite festivals. Set at the end of July on a country estate in St Germans, Cornwall, its idyllic setting with music, talks, fashion, celeb-chef demos and workshops, make for an out-of-the-ordinary, slightly crazy weekender.

And we are super excited that we’ve been invited to take part this year!

We will be under the Fashion Foundation umbrella, along with huge names such as Zandra Rhodes, Alice Temperley, Preen and Dave Hill on Slade style! Hosted in Port Eliot’s Walled Garden we are doing a dance workshop.

On Friday afternoon we’ll be taking festival goers through classic dance steps such as the Mashed Potato and Watusi, showing just what Ops&Ops footwear was made for.

This is followed by a talk with our pal and Port Eliot regular Dominic Lutyens. We’ll natter about our inspiration – fashion, film, music, art and architecture of the 60s – and how all of it continues to fascinate the public and influence what we all wear – and design – today.

We’ll then be joining in the rest of the fun as regular punters for the remainder of the weekend. Why don’t you join us?
