Classic, Cosy, Comfortable – Ops February Edit

Classic trend for February Edit in Classic, Cosy, Comfortable

Classic, cosy and comfortable – the three trends we’re following this month. They’ll get us to work, to play and to hanging out. And our February edit of Ops works brilliantly with them all.

Classic

Wardrobe staples have earned their status for a reason: they’re stylish, versatile and timeless – much like Ops! A smart choice that will straddle the seasons and inject a little cool into colder weather wear.

No17 Bronze offset Fiorucci jeans, Lisou velvet jacket and Framhüs Patchwork scarf with the perfect sheen. Contrast No16 Modern Grey with Arket wool coat and Rise and Fall hood or Souer denim skirt and With Nothing Underneath shirt. And Me+Em trouses and Ganni harlequin sweater were made for No17 Classic Black.

Cosy

Swaddled, warm, snug… Cosy dressing – sumptuous fabrics, knits and woollens – protects you from the elements and makes facing the cold a little easier. It doesn’t mean you have to forgo style, pair with Ops for dressed-up casual.

The rich tones of No16 Purple Duo zhuzh up Whistles sweater dress, while cool  No16 Modern Grey complement Stand Studio’s shearling jacket and Cos plum polo. Top with James Lakeland scarf. Add the subtle shimmer of No17 Ruby with & Other Stories trousers and AgneÌ€s B zip-up – or pair with Stine Goya shirt and trousers for cosy luxe.

Comfortable

It’s not a word that makes the fashion pages regularly. But comfort doesn’t mean dull or fusty; it means being at ease in what you’re wearing and as a result feeling and looking good. Comfort carries the biggest clout in our footwear.

There are no rules with comfortable dressing other than appearing relaxed and confident. Layer up a Hobbs jersey turtle neck, Palace hoody or WNU shirt anchor with a colour pop of No10 Turmeric – that also work a treat with Everlane trousers and Baukjen bomber. Echo the pink on ba&sh sweater with the foil on No17 Woodland Blue and pair No16 Gold Duo with Reiss trouser suit and zigzag scarf from the Royal Academy for polished ease.
